Claire graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition Science from Russell Sage College and is currently completing her Dietetic Internship. She joins us with over ten years of food service and hospitality experience in both senior dining and college campus settings within the Capital District. Claire’s interest in nutrition deepened when she was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. This condition piqued her interest in understanding the interaction of food in the digestive system as well as its overall effect on the body’s health. More importantly it increased her drive to further her education to be a Registered Dietitian so she can assist those with health concerns to make better food choices that will ultimately promote a healthier well being.
